FIDE World Committee of Chess in Schools This space will be the official means to contact all the FIDE affiliated federations, associations, chess clubs, teachers, trainers, coaches, parents, children and young people interested in chess applications to the education field.

The Week In Chess is an on-line magazine produced by Mark Crowther that recaps the most current tournaments and news from the chess world. This magazine contains crosstables, coming events, stories and many games from current events.
Schackforum is a Swedish chess site launched on March 19, 2004. Schackforum is updated daily with chess news and tournament reports, including games, from domestic as well as international events. The site, which derives its name from its vibrant discussion forum, also has sections for problems, studies and endgames (only to name a few), as well as the prestigious Schackforum Challenge, a one-move-a-day game with running commentary from the players involved.

http://education.arts.unsw.edu.au/fidestudy/ is a survey about chess skill. The study looks at effects of amount of practice, coaching and age of starting chess on chess skill and at chess players' views about chess skill. The study involves a short online survey. The survey is for anyone who has, or who ever has had, an FIDE rating. The survey takes only about 5-10 minutes to complete. All responses are completely confidential.
