Summer chess camp in Algonquin Park

This summer, from August 20-27, I will be conducting a summer chess camp in Algonquin Park, at the Madawaska Sunshine Camp on the shores of the beautiful Madawaska River. The camp will include chess and a variety of other outdoor activities.  GM Dimitry Tyomkin, winner of the 2004 Canadian Open and a member of the Canadian Olympic Chess team, has agreed to partipate at the camp.

This chess camp is open to any young Canadian chess player between the age of 8 and 16. This chess camp has a capacity for 30 players.

For those who would like to check out the camp before hand, there will be an open house from April 29 to May 12, by appointment. Hotels and Motels are available within 10-15 minutes drive from the camp.

If this camp is successful, we will organize a 3-week international camp next year.

To find out more about myself or the camp, you can visit our website at http://www.chessacademycanada.com. You are also welcome contact either myself for chess information, or Sunshine Camp Director Vladimir Joutiaikine at the following numbers:
